Marib.. Al-Arada and Bin Mubarak attend the lighting ceremony of the mother flame for the 62nd National Day of the Glorious September 26 Revolution

On Wednesday evening, Ma'rib Governorate witnessed the lighting of the mother flame to celebrate the 62nd National Day of the Glorious September 26 Revolution, in the presence of Presidential Leadership Council member Sultan Al-Arada, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, and many ministers and officials.

The torch was lit by the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haydan, the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, and the Deputy Governor of Marib, Ali Mohammed Al-Fatimi, marking the beginning of the celebrations of this great occasion that holds a special place in the hearts of Yemenis.

The celebration ceremony witnessed a carnival youth scouting show with the participation of 1,200 scouts from various governorates of the Republic, where they presented national artistic paintings that embodied the belief of the Yemeni people and successive generations in the goals and principles of the September 26 Revolution and its republican system.

The show expressed the great human value of the revolution and its great achievements in various areas of life, stressing the renewal of the pledge to carry the torches of the revolution until all its goals are achieved and its great gains are defended.

At the end of the show, Al-Arada received from the scouts and guides the “Covenant Document” sealed with blood, submitted to the political leadership represented by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, and the members of the Council.

The document, which was read by one of the scouts, Qasim Ahmed Hussein Tarmoosh, included a renewal of the pledge by the members of the scout and youth movement to stand as one to preserve the security and stability of the nation against anyone who seeks to destabilize it, and to move towards building the modern federal state.
