I am an old fan of Al-Saqr Club, and I witnessed the first official match at the club’s stadium. I know how I chose Al-Saqr to support without anyone recruiting me, or knowing its sporting history from Majzoub.

We know, as do the allies, the United Nations and the major countries concerned, that the military solution with the Houthi militias is the guarantor of stability in Yemen and the region. And that this solution is the most appropriate, easiest and most convenient way to reach peace and achieve the aspirations of the Yemenis.

The Yemeni people's celebrations of the glorious September 26 Revolution began early this year, compared to previous years. Since the first hours of the glorious month of September yesterday, Sunday, the content of social media in Yemen has become talk of September, in spite of the Houthi imamate and in rejection of the Iranian occupation.

How many Yemeni families are besieged by a feeling of constant anxiety as they stand helpless before the unknown fate of their children who are forcibly disappeared in the prisons of the Houthi group, while the International Day of Enforced Disappearances passes by, and they are fighting the battle to search for their children in light of the limited government role and international failure.

I have never been invited to meet a senior official before. I do not like events that are dominated by praise and glorification. I am confused. My presence is necessary and important. If the president wanted us to hear from him, he would not have invited us. We will hear him on television. He wants to hear from us, for us to discuss the pending issues with him.

The truth is that the Islamic movement in Yemen was previously known for its great shrewdness, wisdom and evasion, and until a certain point it was moving in the right direction. But this shrewdness began to take a different direction, and with it began long processes that ultimately led to the movement losing its most important factor of strength: the factor of strong discourse with its challenges to reality and its pledges to try to influence it.

What the local authority is doing, starting with Governor Nabil Shamsan and down to the smallest employee, to prove their worthiness before the Chairman of the Leadership Council, indicates a huge imbalance in the structure of the local authority, its value system, and its legal and constitutional duties.

The Houthi militia is expanding its punitive tools against Yemenis, and is systematically increasing its violations in the areas it controls, confirming its aggressive approach, which is explained by its criminal behavior that goes beyond fear of possible punishment locally or internationally.

Memories that many of us still carry. As soon as the school lines straighten up, “Palestine” takes its usual place, there next to the flagpole, raising its forehead with pride, waiting for the school radio, in which voices competed to broadcast its news.

Al-Houthi recently announced the launch of a traveler unit in his newly established separatist customs in the Afar region of Al-Bayda Governorate, which specializes in traveler procedures, according to official Houthi statements.
