For the first time in 60 years, an office for Yemenia Airlines opens in Marib Governorate

Today, Friday, the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, opened the office of Yemenia Airlines in Ma'rib Governorate, for the first time in 60 years.

Al-Eryani praised those in charge of the office and their efforts in equipping it to carry out its assigned role in serving the people and residents of Ma'rib Governorate, noting the opening of a Yemenia Airlines office for the first time in more than 60 years, as it serves the governorate and its residents, whose number is estimated at 3 million people.

He urged the office management to make efforts to provide a distinguished service, and to develop and modernize the methods of providing the service, so that the Yemeni office in Marib would be a distinguished front for the national company in a manner befitting Marib Governorate and its national and developmental status.

He pointed out that Yemenia is considered a national carrier for all Yemenis without discrimination, and has proven during the war period that it is the only company that has provided its service to all the people and contributed to alleviating their suffering, through its fleet of 7 aircraft, 5 of which were provided during the war period.

Minister Al-Eryani listened to an explanation from Khaled Al-Harbi, the branch manager, about the stages of preparation and the services it provides to citizens, with regard to selling tickets for the lines from which Yemenia Airlines departs, both domestically and internationally, directly.

He explained that the office began providing sales services in November 2023, pointing to the great turnout from citizens.
