Yemen Shabab Channel is an independent news site primarily focused on Yemen, the Gulf region, and globally when the information is of significant importance. Our motto is "Information from the Source."

Our mission is:

• To keep up with events and provide details as they are from the source, contributing to the availability of truth and making it accessible to everyone as information is a fundamental right to knowledge.
• To analyze events using recognized and established analytical tools, through experienced analysts and observers.
• To focus more on writing quality reports on the most important events; and we always pay attention to translating external reports about Yemen and the Arabian Gulf.
• To delve deeper into uncovering hidden facts through investigative reports and hot files.

We strive to be a primary source of information in Yemen, a challenging task given the widespread local and international news sites and the technological revolution in social media, which will be one of our tools for communicating with the audience everywhere within Yemen and beyond. We are concerned with marginalized areas and essential citizen issues. They are a key part of our priorities, and the citizen is our real capital. Therefore, we have ensured that we have correspondents everywhere, covering events from the field, investigating national and citizen issues, and helping to convey and broadcast them to the world.

Ownership

The Yemen Shabab Channel news site is part of the "Yemen Shabab Media Production Foundation." It is a private, non-profit organization consisting of: "Yemen Shabab Satellite Channel," the "Yemen Shabab Channel" website, and "Yemen Shabab FM Radio." Administratively, each of the three departments is financially and administratively independent. Thus, the Yemen Shabab Channel news website is financially and administratively independent. It has its own management and editorial board, with editors, staff, and correspondents completely independent of the other two departments of the foundation.

Editorial Policies

Firstly, concerning the channel: Since the Yemen Shabab Channel site is the official and only electronic site representing the "Yemen Shabab Media Production Foundation," we have allocated a specific section under the title (Video) to publish what the Yemen Shabab TV Channel broadcasts from news, reports, and programs, automatically, pre-programmed to be broadcast on the site as recorded videos in their dedicated sections without any editorial intervention to convert them into news and text on the site. Additionally, there is another dedicated section to display the channel's programming schedule under the title "Our Programs."

Secondly, concerning the news website: Apart from the above, the Yemen Shabab Channel website is an independent news site in its editorial policy from the channel. It operates 24/7, according to its own editorial policy, unrelated to the channel's editorial policy. The site—through its editorial board and editors—adopts an independent editorial policy, relying on news coverage independently through a network of field correspondents specifically reporting to the site, spread across various Yemeni provinces. Additionally, professional editors in the editorial board follow up on the most prominent and important news published about Yemen, the Gulf, the Arab world, and globally through international media, working to edit the appropriate content for publication, following a professional approach committed to the highest levels of accuracy, credibility, and neutrality. The Yemen Shabab Channel news site focuses on creating and crafting quality reports and hot files more than other types of journalism. It also stands out by translating key reports published by major global agencies and newspapers about Yemen (specifically) and the world (generally).
