A delegation of the leaders of the popular resistance in Ibb and Ma'rib governorates visited the shrine of the great September leader, martyr Ali Abdul-Mughni.

"Yemeni Youth Net" sources said that the march of the leadership delegation set off (Thursday) from the roundabout of the martyr Sheikh Ali Nasser Al-Qardaei in the center of Marib, and cut through the streets of the city carrying flags and pictures of the two martyrs Al-Qardaei and Abdul-Mughni to the site of the latter's shrine, chanting September slogans and slogans affirming the continuation of the path of the two martyrs.

In recent years, the visit to the shrine of the martyr Ali Abdul-Mughni has become an annual tradition, as a form of loyalty to him and to renew the pledge to continue on his path. However, this year it has gained special importance, as it aims to draw attention to the repressive practices adopted by the Houthi militia against the people of the As-Saddah District, the birthplace of the martyr Abdul-Mughni, to prevent them from celebrating the annual anniversary of the September Revolution.

Major General Ali Muhammad Hussein Abdul-Mughni was born in the village of Al-Masqa in Wadi Bana in As-Saddah District in Ibb Governorate in 1935. He is a Yemeni military and revolutionary, one of the leaders of the September 26 Revolution and a member of the Revolutionary Command Council. His name is considered the most famous in the history of the Yemeni Revolution, as many fighters and revolutionaries consider him the actual leader of the immortal Yemeni September 26 Revolution.

In December 1961, he was assigned to lead a military campaign to the Harib region in Ma'rib to confront the royalist crowds led by Al-Hassan bin Yahya Hamid al-Din, and he was killed in that battle in October 1962.
