For the thirteenth consecutive day, the Israeli army continues its bloody ground invasion of the northern Gaza Strip, especially the Jabalia camp, as part of a war of "extermination and starvation" aimed at displacing Palestinian citizens from the region to the south.

According to eyewitnesses, local and medical sources for Anadolu Agency, Israel is persisting in committing "genocide crimes" by deepening the state of famine and thirst, while continuing to carry out intensive bombing, demolition of residential buildings, and destruction of neighborhoods and areas.

On October 6, Israel began this invasion, under the pretext of "preventing Hamas from regaining its strength in the area," while the Palestinians say that it is working to displace citizens, occupy the area, and separate it from the rest of the Strip.

Local sources told the Anadolu Agency correspondent that "the Israeli army is tightening its siege on the northern Gaza Strip for the thirteenth consecutive day, depriving 200,000 Palestinians in the Jabalia camp of water, food, fuel and medicine, and deepening the humanitarian crises in light of dire living conditions."

The sources added that "the Israeli army forces that have penetrated Jabalia camp are continuing to commit crimes of genocide against the Palestinians, by continuing to blow up residential buildings over the heads of their residents and burning them with those inside them."

The Palestinian Civil Defense said in a statement on Thursday: "Our crews were able to extinguish a large fire in a house belonging to the "Salha" family near Abu Rashid Pool in Jabalia camp after it was bombed by the Israeli army."

Meanwhile, a Palestinian was killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted Khalifa School, which houses displaced people in the Sheikh Zayed area in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip, according to a medical source for Anadolu.

The source added, "The bombing caused a fire to break out in the school corridors, and the flames devoured many of the displaced people's belongings, and caused many injuries that were transferred to the Indonesian hospital for treatment."

Palestinian homes in Jabalia camp and Beit Lahia town were subjected to heavy artillery shelling, resulting in deaths and injuries that ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to reach due to the heavy Israeli fire, according to a source in the civil defense apparatus to the Anadolu Agency correspondent.

Israeli vehicles also opened heavy fire around the Saftawi area, northwest of the Gaza Strip, and Israeli drones opened fire on Palestinians and their homes in the Jabalia camp and on anyone who moved, according to eyewitnesses to Anadolu Agency.

Witnesses added that Israeli gunboats opened heavy fire towards the coast of Gaza City and the northern part of the Strip, without reporting any injuries.

In Gaza City (center), Israeli vehicles stationed on the Netzarim axis south of the city intensively bombed the Zeitoun and Sabra neighborhoods.

Anadolu Agency correspondent quoted eyewitnesses as saying, "The Israeli army blew up residential buildings in the vicinity of the Dawla junction, south of the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city, causing great destruction in the area."

Witnesses reported limited advances by Israeli vehicles on Salah al-Din Street near the entrance to the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, with heavy gunfire from "Quadcopter" vehicles and drones.

With American support, the ongoing Israeli genocidal war in Gaza since October 7, 2023 has left more than 141,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that has killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

Tel Aviv continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Israel is also defying a request by the International Criminal Court's Prosecutor Karim Khan to issue arrest warrants for its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant for their responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Tel Aviv has turned the Gaza Strip into the largest prison in the world, besieging it for the 18th year, and the "genocidal" war has forced about two million of its citizens, numbering about 2.3 million Palestinians, to flee in catastrophic conditions, with a severe and deliberate shortage of food, water and medicine.
