The Houthi militia counted 15 air strikes on the capital, Sanaa, and Saada (northern Yemen), while the US Central Command confirmed targeting underground Houthi weapons facilities with raids in which B-2 strategic bombers participated.
The Houthi-controlled Saba news agency said today, Thursday, quoting a security source in the (unrecognized) militia authorities, that the (American-British) aircraft launched 15 raids on the capital, Sanaa, and Saada Governorate.
According to the source, the raids included six raids on the areas of Al-Telefeen, Al-Hafaa, and Jarban, north and south of the capital, and nine raids on the areas of Kahlan and Al-Abla, east of Saada city.
The Houthi media has not yet mentioned any additional details about the nature of the targeted sites and their results.
Meanwhile, US Central Command ( CENTCOM ) forces said that its forces carried out multiple, precise airstrikes on several fortified underground Houthi weapons storage facilities, inside Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen.
It added in a statement published on the X platform that the targeted facilities "contain various advanced conventional weapons including (missiles, weapons components and other ammunition) used to target US and international military and civilian ships sailing in international waters throughout the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden."
She explained that the measures were taken "with the aim of weakening the Houthis' ability to continue their reckless and unlawful attacks on international commercial shipping, and on US commercial personnel and vessels, and coalition forces in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden, and weakening their ability to threaten regional partners."

She said that US Air Force and Navy assets, including the US Air Force's B-2 Spirit long-range stealth bombers, participated in the operation, noting that the use of B-2 bombers demonstrates US capabilities to reach these targets, when necessary, at any time, and in any place.
