Ataq Hospital staff in Shabwa Governorate
The employees of Ataq Maternity and Childhood Hospital in Shabwa Governorate confirmed that they will continue the escalation they started six days ago to demand their rights and improve the services in the hospital.
During the protest stand they held in front of Ataq Hospital on Tuesday, the protesters raised banners demanding that the local authority intervene urgently to stop the financial and administrative tampering in the hospital.
The protesters demanded that those responsible for the illegal deductions from their incentives be held accountable, stressing that they would continue to escalate until their demands were met.
The employees of Ataq Hospital had started the escalation on Tuesday, October 29, in a protest stand, denouncing the deterioration of health services in the hospital and demanding their financial dues.
Last Sunday, they began a partial strike for an hour and a half, except for emergency cases, the day before yesterday, Monday, but the concerned authorities ignored their demands and did not respond to them, according to what they said.
