Four people were killed and injured on Thursday evening, following tribal clashes in Shabwa Governorate, northeastern Yemen.

Local sources said that one person was killed and three others were injured during tribal clashes between Al Bahri and Al Dahmar in the market of Al Ulya city in Bayhan district.

According to the sources, the clashes resulted in the death of a person named "Abdul-Ilah Bahr Shu'an", and three members of the Dahmar family were injured, one of whom is in critical condition.

This comes a day after one person was killed and another injured during tribal clashes that took place in the Upper Markha District of Shabwa Governorate.

Shabwa Governorate is witnessing a return to tribal revenge, amid the absence of de facto authorities in the governorate, which is under the control of the UAE-backed Transitional Council.
