Ship attacked in the Red Sea - Archive
The UK Maritime Trade Operations announced on Tuesday that a ship was attacked south of Hodeidah, west of Yemen, without causing any damage.
The authority said in a statement on the "X" platform, "A ship 70 nautical miles southwest of Hodeidah, Yemen, reported several explosions near it earlier today, Tuesday."
The authority explained that "the ship was not damaged and its crew is fine."
Earlier on Tuesday evening, the Houthis announced that they had targeted an American aircraft carrier and two American destroyers with several missiles and drones in the Red and Arabian Seas.
The Pentagon acknowledged the attack and the weapons used by the Houthi group.
