Extermination of the hungry.. 10 Palestinians martyred in Israeli bombing targeting an aid center in Jabalia

Ten Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Monday in an Israeli artillery attack that targeted a gathering of civilians in front of a food aid distribution center in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses told the Anadolu Agency correspondent that the Israeli army shelled a gathering of civilians, most of whom were women and elderly people, in front of a flour distribution center in Jabalia camp with artillery shells.

They explained that "dozens of Palestinians, besieged in Jabalia camp, headed to the flour distribution center affiliated with UNRWA to obtain flour, after they had completely run out of food and water, as a result of ten days of the Israeli siege."

They continued: "But the Israeli army targeted them with artillery shells, and there are bodies scattered around the distribution center, which was completely burned."

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Civil Defense Authority in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Basal, said in a statement that "the occupation fired artillery shells at the Palestinians, and the ambulance crews are unable to reach the wounded."

He explained that "the occupation is targeting everything that moves, and there is a complete siege on the Jabalia area."

For the tenth day, the Israeli army continues its ground invasion of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, amidst a strict siege during which the entry of food, drink, or fuel is prohibited.

The army is trying to displace Palestinians from the north of the Gaza Strip to the south, amid Palestinian accusations that Tel Aviv is working to occupy the region and empty it of its residents through siege, starvation and killing.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with full American support, has been waging a "genocidal" war on Gaza, resulting in more than 140,000 Palestinian deaths and injuries, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.

Tel Aviv continues its war of extermination, ignoring the UN Security Council's decision to end it immediately, and the International Court of Justice's orders to take measures to prevent acts of "genocide" and improve the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Israel is also defying a request by the International Criminal Court's Prosecutor Karim Khan to issue arrest warrants for its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant, for their responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel has turned the Gaza Strip into the world's largest prison, besieging it for the 18th year, and the "genocidal" war has forced about two million of its citizens, numbering about 2.3 million Palestinians, to flee in catastrophic conditions, with a severe and deliberate shortage of food, water and medicine.
