Shabwa.. The commander of the First Shabwa Defense Brigade was killed in an explosion targeting his car in Al-Saeed District

The commander of the First Brigade of the "Shabwa Defense", Ahmed Mohsen Al-Sulaimani Al-Awlaki, was killed on Monday in an explosion that targeted his car in the Al-Masina'a area, Al-Sa'id District, Shabwa Governorate, southeast of Yemen.

According to media sources, a violent explosion occurred in the Al-Saeed Directorate, targeting Al-Soleimani's car, which led to his immediate death, indicating that the explosion bears the fingerprints of Al-Qaeda.

This comes at a time when another account said that the commander of the First Shabwa Defense Brigade was killed as a result of being targeted by a shell by gunmen at the Al-Qanaa military site in the Al-Masina’a area.

The leader of the Transitional Council in Shabwa Governorate, Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, mourned him, noting that Ahmed Al-Sulaymani was martyred in a treacherous terrorist ambush in the Al-Masina’a area.

Abyan and Shabwa governorates are witnessing repeated attacks launched by terrorist organizations against Shabwa Defense Forces and the Security Belt.

The Transitional Council has been waging a military campaign against it alone, under the name of Arrows of the East, in the two governorates for two years, and the attacks have resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries on both sides.
