The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast today, Sunday, footage of the targeting of an Israeli reconnaissance patrol east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, by Al-Zawari's "suicide" drone.

The scenes date back to last Thursday (10/10/2024), and were carried out by Al-Zawari's suicide drone called "Eagle", which was equipped with a camera before it was struck, according to the video.

According to the Qassam video, the target was an Israeli occupation army reconnaissance patrol consisting of two jeeps and four soldiers.

The clip began with scenes of a number of Qassam fighters preparing the plane for the mission, monitoring the occupation soldiers at the target site, then launching the plane and scenes of it flying and swooping down on the target.

From another angle, the clip showed the plane hitting the target and the smoke resulting from the explosion, then the shouts of Takbeer from the Qassam Brigades.

Al-Qassam had previously published footage of the launch of "Zuari" attack drones towards gatherings of Israeli forces on the border with the Strip and inside the envelope area.

Since the start of the occupation army's large-scale ground operation in the Gaza Strip in late October, Qassam has broadcast footage of its fighters targeting occupation vehicles on various axes of the incursion, varying between hitting tanks with anti-tank shells, detonating others with explosive devices, and setting up successful ambushes.

The operations also included targeting Israeli infantry forces with anti-fortification shells, in addition to sniping and direct engagement operations, and raiding the headquarters of the occupation operations in various areas.
