The Jaadna tribe in Abyan Governorate, south of the country, announced on Tuesday evening that they would begin blocking the international road (in Abyan) and would not accept any mediation, whatever it may be, to demand the disclosure of the fate of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, who has been kidnapped for about two months.
This came in a statement by the Al-Jaadna tribe, a copy of which was received by "Yemeni Youth Net", following a meeting headed by Sheikh Haider Ali Nasser Jabran, Sheikh of the Al-Jaadna tribe.
The tribe decided to begin "blocking the international road and not accept any mediation, whatever it may be," according to the statement.
The attendees agreed to reorganize the preparatory committee as follows: (Nasser Mohammed Saleh Gebran, Raafat Al-Saadi, Nasser Mohammed Awad Azzan, Hassan Abdullah Ashal, Ali Ahmed Haidera).
According to the statement, "The Preparatory Committee will arrange and prepare for the upcoming million-man march, and it has the right to add those it deems appropriate to the Preparatory Committee."
Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani was kidnapped last June from the Technology City in the interim capital, Aden. The Aden Security Department confirmed that the so-called "counter-terrorism" forces affiliated with the Transitional Council in Aden were behind the incident.
