Yemeni driver dies in traffic accident in Saudi Arabia

A young Yemeni man died in a traffic accident in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, amid an increase in traffic accident victims among the Yemeni community in the Kingdom.

A source working in the transportation sector said that the driver (Majed Abdullah Omar Qarwash) died after being involved in a traffic accident in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The source added, quoting a source close to the victim, that the driver was using his mobile phone while driving, which led to his car (Hilux type) overturning in the "Hawtah Bani Tamim" area of the Riyadh region, and his immediate death.

According to the source, the victim is from the village of "Asha" in the Habish district, north of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen).

In recent months and weeks, dozens of Yemeni expatriates have died and been injured in traffic and other work accidents in Saudi Arabia.
