Taiz.. The army explains the details of an explosion in a building in the city center

The army forces in Taiz announced, on Wednesday evening, that four people were injured as a result of a projectile exploding in a building in Al-Hurriya Square in the center of the city.

Taiz Axis reported in a press release that "the incident was the explosion of some projectiles in the building adjacent to the Public Funds Prosecution, which is used as a reserve warehouse for the armament of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade."

He added, "The explosion resulted in the injury of four people. The cause of the accident was a fire in one of the building's rooms, which affected the projectiles, causing them to explode. The fire was controlled by firefighters."

The commander of the Taiz axis assigned an investigation committee from the concerned authorities to investigate the causes and results of the accident, according to the statement.

Rumors circulated that the explosion was the result of a communication device exploding, as happened in Lebanon yesterday, Tuesday, when communication devices in the possession of supporters of the Lebanese Hezbollah were detonated.

The Taiz Axis Command called on all media outlets and activists to avoid being drawn into any rumours about the incident, and to obtain information from its official sources.
