The birth of the Prophet
A violent fight broke out between a group of Houthi women, today, Sunday, following a celebratory event organized by the militia in the center of Ibb city, on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday.
Activists on social media circulated video clips of a group of Houthi women fighting with sticks and batons - inside a sports stadium in the city of Ibb - which included Houthi slogans on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday.
One of the organizations tried to remind them that they were guests of the Messenger of God (according to its claim) to stop the fight, but to no avail.
Earlier today, the Houthi militia held celebrations on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday in several squares, some of which were designated for men and others for women, in several governorates under its control, in a political display that was met with great disapproval by citizens who face difficult economic conditions.
