Last night, tribal clashes fueled by the Houthi militia were renewed in Al-Udain District, west of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen).

Local sources said that the village of "Tha'ub" in the "Khubaz" district in the Al-Udain directorate witnessed clashes and an exchange of fire between tribal gunmen from the same area late last night.

The sources added that the clashes renewed between the Bani Al-Shahari tribe and the Al-Damini and Al-Wasili families due to the failure to resolve the conflict that has been ongoing for more than two years.

The security supervisor of the Houthi militia in Al-Udain, called "Abu Hussein Al-Harouni", is accused of fueling the conflict in the region and obstructing all local and tribal efforts to resolve the conflict, including the recent reconciliation that was concluded early this February.

The Khubaz district, affiliated with the Al-Udain directorate, has been witnessing an armed conflict fueled by the Houthi militia for more than two years, which has so far resulted in nine deaths and dozens of injuries from both sides of the conflict, in addition to damage to a large number of homes and properties.
