Sources for "Yemeni Youth": Washington refuses to recognize "Al-Bahsani" as a Yemeni official because he entered its territory with an Emirati passport

Special sources told Yemen Youth Channel that Washington refused to receive Presidential Leadership Council member Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani and recognize him as a Yemeni official, because he entered its territory with an Emirati passport.

The sources told the program “From the Other Side,” presented by colleague “Abdullah Dubla” on the “Yemeni Youth” channel, “The American side refused to hold any meeting with Al-Bahsani, because he entered the United States next to an Emirati, and they did not recognize him as a Yemeni official.”

The sources confirmed that "Al-Bahsani asked the Yemeni embassy in Washington to arrange meetings with American officials during his last visit, while the American side refused for the same reason."

According to the sources, "Al-Bahsani is exploiting his position in the Presidential Council by holding meetings and visits for his benefit and for regional parties, outside the directions of the Presidential Council."

It is noteworthy that Al-Bahsani had visited the United States last August with an Emirati passport.

The Transitional Council, which is calling for secession, appointed Al-Bahsani, in early May of last year 2023, as deputy to Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, who was appointed head of the council.
