Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah admitted that his party had received a "strong, large and unprecedented" blow with the explosions that hit pagers and walkie-talkies on Tuesday and Wednesday, but he noted that they "did not bring it down" and stressed that the Lebanese front would not stop before Israel halted its operations in the Gaza Strip, according to a speech he gave on Thursday.

Nasrallah said in his televised speech: "There is no doubt that we have been exposed to a major security and humanitarian blow, unprecedented in the history of the resistance in Lebanon at least, and unprecedented in the history of Lebanon, and may be unprecedented in the history of the conflict with the Israeli enemy in the entire region, and perhaps unprecedented in the world."

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah added, "This strong, large, and unprecedented blow did not and will not bring us down, but rather we will become stronger after it."

Nasrallah claimed that Israel wanted to "strike the command and control system" in Hezbollah through the two explosions, which he described as "massacres," with the aim of "spreading chaos" within the joints of Hezbollah's leadership, and he pointed out that this "did not happen for a single moment."

Regarding the hypothesis that Israel would establish a security belt inside Lebanese territory, Nasrallah said: "We hope they will try to do so," considering it a "historic opportunity" on the military level. He added: "The security belt will turn into mud, an ambush, a trap and hell if you want to come to our land."

Nasrallah claimed that his party "received messages through official and unofficial channels" on Tuesday afternoon to stop activity on the Lebanese front, and responded to those messages by saying: "In the name of the victims of these bombings, we tell Netanyahu and Galant that the Lebanese front will not stop before the aggression on Gaza stops."

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah sent a message of defiance to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant, saying: “I say to Netanyahu and Galant that you will not be able to return the residents of the north to the north. This is a challenge between us,” and he indicated that the only way to do so is to “stop the aggression on Gaza and the West Bank.”

Regarding the bombings that struck the party over two days, Nasrallah said: “We formed technical and security investigation committees and are studying all hypotheses and have reached a semi-result, but this file is under investigation and close follow-up, whether from the company to manufacturing to transportation and procedures in Lebanon to distribution, and when we reach a result, the matter will be based on its requirements.”

Lebanon witnessed the explosion of thousands of pagers and walkie-talkies owned by Hezbollah members over the past two days, killing dozens and injuring thousands.
