Marib.. A mass wedding for 92 grooms and brides from the army and security personnel in the capital

On Sunday evening, the city of Marib witnessed a joyful mass wedding to celebrate the wedding of 92 grooms and brides from the sons of the capital, Sana'a, who are members of the armed forces and security forces. The wedding was organized by the Popular Mobilization and Support Council in the capital, Sana'a, in a joyful and festive atmosphere, with a large attendance from the families and friends of the bride and groom.

At the ceremony, which was attended by a number of local authority leaders, military and security leaders, and civilian figures, Member of Parliament Abdullah Saatar delivered a speech in which he indicated that holding this wedding is a symbolic appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices of the heroes, and to ease the burdens on them to complete half of their religion, and to establish their family life in light of the exceptional and difficult circumstances that the country is going through.

He stressed that this joy, which was created despite all the circumstances, will be completed with the great joy of liberating the capital, Sana'a, and every inch of the homeland's soil, restoring state institutions, and defeating the Iranian Houthi militia, following in the footsteps and approach of the heroes of the glorious September and October revolutions in uprooting the tyranny of the Imamate in the north of the homeland.

In a speech by the Chairman of the Mobilization and Support Council of the Capital Secretariat, Ahmed Al-Ashwal, he stressed that the mass marriage projects are a good result of fortifying the youth, and carry the meanings of social solidarity, mutual support and solidarity, which is not strange to our people who have been and will remain throughout history a symbol of civilization, coexistence and social solidarity.

Al-Ashoul explained that holding this wedding comes as a kind of return of favor and performance of duty towards these fighters, who made great sacrifices for the sake of the homeland. Among them are the sons of martyrs, the wounded, prisoners and kidnapped people who were absent for years in the militias’ prisons.

The newlyweds also dedicated their joy to the revolutionaries of September and October, to the heroes on the front lines, and to everyone who had a hand in holding this celebration and joyful wedding, headed by Sultan Al-Arada, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, expressing their great happiness at achieving their dream of stability and a decent life, and their reunion through these blessed weddings, which establish a better future for them and their families.

At the mass wedding, many artistic performances, folkloric dances and poems were presented, which were well received and impressed by the attendees.
