Israel commits several massacres in Gaza, and the number of martyrs rises to 41,689 since October 7

In the same context, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported the martyrdom of 8 Palestinians and the injury of a number of others as a result of an Israeli bombardment that targeted the Ghattas family home on Nazir Street east of Gaza City at midnight last night, as the occupation bombed the home with several missiles from warplanes.

In addition, 10 Palestinians were killed and a number of others were injured as a result of the occupation’s bombing that targeted a school housing displaced persons and the Nuwairi Hill west of the Nuseirat camp, a few hours after the Iranian bombing that targeted the Israeli occupation.

The Israeli occupation army intensified last night and this morning, Wednesday, the bombing operations that took place in various areas, in addition to the launching of illumination bombs in the "Netzarim" area, coinciding with the Iranian bombing, and fearing the infiltration of Palestinian resistance fighters into the area that separates the central and southern Gaza Strip from its north.

According to the government media office, the number of victims in the Gaza Strip has reached more than 150,000 victims, including more than 52,000 martyrs and missing people under the rubble, due to the difficulty of extracting bodies due to the lack of equipment and tools and the Civil Defense not having any heavy equipment that would help extract Palestinians after Israeli bombing operations.

The number of martyrs rose to 41,689

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the Israeli war on the Strip has risen to 41,689 martyrs and 96,625 wounded, since October 7, 2023.

The ministry said in its statistical report on the victims of the 362nd day of the Israeli war: “The death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 41,689 martyrs and 96,625 injuries since last October 7.”

She added: "51 martyrs and 165 injuries arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals, as a result of 5 massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian families during its incursion into the areas of Qizan al-Najjar, al-Manara and Ma'an in Khan Yunis, south of the Strip, during the past 24 hours."

She stressed that "a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them."

In addition to the dead and wounded, the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip left about 10,000 missing, massive destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure, and a deadly famine, especially in the north, that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.

In contempt of the international community, Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate halt, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
