For his part, the Director of the College of Aviation and Air Defense, Major General Ahmed Saleh Al-Bahash, indicated that the college will continue its educational journey and perform its pioneering role in graduating and preparing leaders to modernize the armed forces and provide them with professional cadres armed with the knowledge and science required for the field of heroism and combat.
Al-Bahash added that this seventh batch of university students is considered the first fruits of the resumption of studies at the college in Ma'rib Governorate, with the graduation of 315 university students from the college, holders of bachelor's and master's degrees, who completed military studies, combat skills and commando, and who spent a full year inside the college, during which they received various disciplinary and specialized military sciences.
During the ceremony, the Director of the Legal Department, Brigadier General Abdullah Ghailan, read the decision of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, No. 270 of 2024 AD, promoting the graduates of the batch to the rank of "Second Lieutenant" in the Armed Forces, while the graduates took the military oath, followed by the Deputy Director of the Military Judiciary Department, Brigadier General Qadi Muhammad Al-Jaafari.
The ceremony included a number of paragraphs and poems that emphasized, in general, the adherence of the Yemeni people and their armed forces to the principles and values of the Yemeni revolutions of September and October and not allowing the past to return Yemen to the ages of backwardness, slavery and colonialism.
