A woman was killed by a Houthi sniper on Monday while she was herding sheep near her home in a town in the southern province of Al-Dhale.
The army website, September Net, quoted local sources as saying that Nour Ahmed Ali Al-Laith, 35, was killed by a Houthi sniper who was stationed on one of the hills in the Habil Al-Abdi area, west of Qataba district.
According to sources, the woman was killed while she was in Wadi Al-Kharaza, herding sheep. She was seriously injured and was transferred to the hospital in Sanah, where she died immediately upon arrival due to her injuries.
The sources confirmed that Houthi snipers continue to target citizens, children and women in Al-Kharaza village and neighbouring villages in Qataba district, and their crimes are still ongoing against populated villages.
