Two citizens were injured today, Tuesday, in a bombing launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militias, using a drone that targeted a civilian car west of Taiz Governorate, southwest of Yemen.

Local sources said that the Houthi militias launched an artillery attack with a drone targeting a Hilux double-cabin vehicle while it was passing on a dirt road west of Taiz Governorate.

She stated that the bombing resulted in the injury of two civilians from one family who were in the car, namely "Salah Abdo Hammadi Abdo Hassan and Adham Abdel Rahman Abdo Hassan."

The sources indicated that the injured were taken to a hospital in the city of Mocha to receive treatment.

On Monday, the Taiz Military Axis said that the terrorist Houthi militia had resumed its military escalation over the past three days on the fronts surrounding the city, the fronts of Jabal Habashi and Maqbanah directorates, and the Al-Kadha area in the western countryside of the governorate.

He explained that the Houthi escalation operations included "carrying out offensive operations and targeting army sites with various weapons, in addition to creating new sites, establishing military fortifications, and mobilizing forces, weapons, and equipment."

He pointed out that violent battles took place on Sunday and continued for several hours, in which various types of weapons were used between his forces and the Houthi militia northeast of the city, following an infiltration attempt by militia elements that the army was able to repel. His forces also repelled another infiltration attempt on the Asifrah front, north of the city.
