Google recently launched its new product, “Google Vids,” as part of its suite of services for businesses and organizations within “Google Workspace.”
This service is aimed at companies looking to produce professional visual content efficiently and quickly without the need for deep technical expertise or complex tools.
Google Vids features a simple and easy-to-use user interface, making video creation a breeze even for beginners. Users can add text, images, and music, while taking advantage of a rich media library that includes royalty-free materials, providing a variety of options to develop engaging, ready-to-use content right away.
The service uses artificial intelligence in several aspects, as it relies on Gemini technology to automatically generate video plans based on user texts, where Gemini analyzes the required content and suggests the arrangement of scenes and elements.
To add more creativity, the tool also includes “Imagen 3,” which allows text descriptions to be converted into distinctive images using artificial intelligence, providing an artistic and attractive touch to the video.
Synchronous group collaboration feature
Google Vids offers a synchronous team collaboration feature that allows team members to work on a project at the same time, share ideas, and moderate content in real time, just like Google Docs and Google Sheets. The tool also includes advanced screen recording and voiceover tools directly from the app, making it a complete in-browser video production solution.
As for the service availability, it is currently only available to Workspace Labs subscribers, with the possibility of benefiting from a free 14-day trial period, which allows companies the opportunity to test the tool’s capabilities and explore its capabilities before fully subscribing.
Google Vids is in line with Google’s strategy to provide integrated digital solutions that meet the needs of the business sector in creating visual content in an effective and innovative manner, providing companies with a powerful tool that enables them to produce professional, high-quality content without the need for huge investments in specialized software or a professional editing team.
