A mine exploded in a car carrying citizens in Hodeidah
A citizen and his son were injured on Friday when a mine exploded, planted by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, in one of the towns in the Hays district, south of the city of Hodeidah, in the west of the country.
A local source confirmed to "Yemeni Youth Net" that a Houthi mine swept away by the floods exploded in the car of the citizen "Ahmed Hassan Qasim Sufyan, 70 years old" and his son "Ali, 30 years old", causing them various injuries in the village of Al-Shu'ub, north of the city of Hays, south of Hodeidah.
The source explained that the explosion occurred in the citizens' car in the "Wadi Al-Marir" stream while they were going shopping in the weekly market of Al-Khokha District.
The source indicated that the car was severely damaged by the explosion, while the citizen and his son were transferred to Al-Khokha Hospital to receive treatment.
Last Wednesday evening, the two brothers, Abdullah, 28, and Mohammed, 26, sons of Ayesh Ahmed Qubaisi, were killed by a Houthi militia mine explosion in the Al-Duraihimi district, in the same governorate, while they were returning on a bicycle from their work at sea.
