A school principal threatened to expel female students if they did not chant the "Khomeini" slogan in a school in the capital, Sana'a, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.

Educational sources said that the principal of the 7th of July School in the Shu’ub Directorate, Najat Al-Najjar, told the students during the morning assembly that any student who screams will be taken from her file and left the school.

According to the sources, the Houthi principal threatened last Saturday that she would not leave any student in the school who did not shout.

For years, the Houthi militia has been forcing school students in the areas under its control to chant the slogan in the morning assembly as part of its mobilization activities to indoctrinate the minds of young people and students with extremist ideas.

This comes in light of the continued systematic destruction of the educational process by Houthi-izing the curricula and making amendments to them to serve its project and ideology.
