Wounded during clashes between gunmen on a public street in the old city of Ibb

Three people were injured during clashes that broke out between gunmen in one of the neighborhoods of the old city of Ibb (central Yemen).

Local sources said that an armed clash broke out between a citizen named Abdul Hakim Al-Mufti and one of his relatives, Sahirah, on Saturday, on a public street in Al-Majara neighborhood, in the old city of Ibb in Al-Mashnah district, following disputes whose nature was not immediately known.

The sources explained that the Mufti tried to escape on a bus, but the other gunman caught up with him and shot him.

The sources indicated that as a result, the Mufti was seriously injured in the chest, and two other passengers were injured, one of whom is called "Walid Al-Muhalal", and they were transferred to one of the city's hospitals for treatment.

Ibb Governorate is witnessing a huge security chaos and widespread proliferation of weapons, which has increased the severity of criminal crimes.
