On Friday morning, the terrorist Houthi militia kidnapped journalist Mohammed Dabwan Al-Mayahy from his home in Sana'a, northern Yemen.

Sources close to the kidnapped journalist said that Houthi militias raided Al-Mayahy's house on Al-Da'iri Street at six o'clock on Friday morning.

She explained that a military vehicle of the Houthi militia and female elements "Zainabiyat" stormed Al-Mayahy's house and took him to an unknown location.

The sources indicated that the heavily armed militia elements looted the contents of Al-Mayahy's apartment, including his computer and phones.

On Friday evening, the writer Al-Mayahy’s Facebook page disappeared, indicating that the militias controlling his phone had closed the page, on which he had recently published articles critical of the Imamate project and the situation in Sana’a.

This comes in conjunction with a kidnapping campaign launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias against activists and politicians due to publications and positions calling for celebrating the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution that overthrew the priestly Imamate rule.
