On Wednesday night, the occupation aircraft launched a raid on the Al-Bashoura area in Beirut, targeting the headquarters of the Islamic Health Authority affiliated with Hezbollah, before being followed by a series of raids on the southern suburb.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that the bombing of Al-Bashoura resulted in six martyrs and a number of wounded, while an official in the "Health Authority" said that "all the martyrs who fell in the Israeli raid were paramedics," noting that there were also wounded civilians.

This strike is the closest to Beirut since the occupation forces began their aggression on Lebanon. The raid caused a loud noise in the area, as strong odors spread in Beirut and its surroundings and coastal areas following the raid, which was followed by a series of Israeli raids targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut.

The National News Agency said that the Israeli occupation army used internationally banned phosphorous bombs in its raid on Al-Bashoura, which targeted the Islamic Health Authority Center.

While news spread about targeting the office of Hezbollah MP Amin Sherri, the latter denied having an office in Bashoura. The authority also confirmed that the raid targeted the civil defense center affiliated with the health authority and left its staff dead and wounded. The targeted headquarters is located in a crowded residential neighborhood on the outskirts of downtown Beirut, where the government headquarters is located.

The Israeli occupation army said that it carried out a precision strike in Beirut on Wednesday night, without giving further details, before calling on the residents of five buildings in the southern suburbs of Beirut at dawn on Thursday to evacuate their homes "immediately." According to the army statement, it identified five buildings in Haret Hreik, Burj al-Barajneh and Hadath Gharb, claiming that their residents were located near dangerous Hezbollah installations.

For days, Israel has been carrying out violent air strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, southern Lebanon and eastern Lebanon. The most violent of these strikes was last Friday, when Israel assassinated Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
