Spanish club Real Madrid presented its new player, French star Kylian Mbappe, to the fans and the media on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Nearly eighty thousand Real Madrid fans flocked to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium to watch Mbappe's presentation ceremony.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of many distinguished guests and sports figures, the most prominent of whom was French legend Zinedine Zidane, the former player and coach of the Merengue.

Florentino Pérez, president of the Royal Club, said in his welcome speech to the French star: “Thank you Kylian for the effort you made to become a Real Madrid player. Thank you Mbappe for your love for Real Madrid.”

Mbappe said during his presentation at the Bernabeu Stadium: “I am very happy and have always dreamed of playing for Real Madrid. My dream now is to be at the level of this legendary club.”

The Frenchman added: “I am proud to be a player in the best club in the history of football.”

The "Roosters" national team star wore the number 9 shirt during his presentation to the fans and the media.

Real Madrid announced its contract with Mbappe on the third of last June, two days after winning the Champions League title after defeating German Borussia Dortmund in the final with two clean goals.

Mbappe (25 years old) joined the “Merengue” on a free transfer after the end of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, the French League champion, after he had achieved all possible local titles with him since joining its ranks in 2017.

The presentation ceremony came after Mbappe signed his contract to join Real Madrid for a period of 5 years until 2029.
