Two Transitional Forces soldiers injured while repelling an attack launched by the Houthi militia north of Lahj

Two soldiers from the Transitional Council forces were injured on Friday while confronting an infiltration attempt by a number of terrorist Houthi militia elements, north of Lahj Governorate, in the south of the country.

Military sources said that the Security Belt Forces and the Southern Resistance repelled an infiltration attempt by Houthi militia elements this morning, Friday, on the Qurain front, northwest of Al-Musaimeer District.

The sources confirmed that the forces were able to thwart the Houthi infiltration, after mutual artillery shelling, which resulted in the injury of two Transitional Council soldiers.

During the past few days, the Al-Masemir border fronts witnessed intermittent clashes and mutual artillery shelling between the Transitional Forces and the Houthi militia elements, resulting in deaths and injuries on both sides.
