On Sunday, the National Committee for Investigating Allegations of Human Rights Violations organized a new periodic meeting with its field monitors in the city of Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate, in cooperation with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The meeting will continue for five days, from October 27 to 31, with the participation of (39) field observers from all governorates of the Republic, and will be managed by committee members Judge Nasser Al-Awadhli, Judge Hussein Al-Mashdali, and Judge Ishraq Al-Maqtari, according to what the committee published on its page on social media.

At the opening, the head of the committee, Judge Ahmed Saeed Al-Muflahi, welcomed all the observers participating in the program, praising the field work they are carrying out in monitoring and documenting all violations committed on all Yemeni lands according to the highest international standards.

The meeting will review the current violations included in the list of violations of international humanitarian law and international human rights law in the committee, explain and review these violations, determine the name and final description of each violation that was agreed to be added to the list, and practical applications of what was discussed.
