Instructions to the depositor to stop any collections

The administration of the Al-Wadiah border crossing with Saudi Arabia, affiliated with Hadhramaut Governorate in eastern Yemen, announced the suspension of imposing fees on travelers through the crossing, without any official government directives.

The port administration issued directives to stop collecting the 10 Saudi riyals, which was informally requested from travelers, confirming that travelers are no longer obligated to pay these fees.

The port administration called on everyone to report any cases of extortion to which they may be exposed through numbers designated for this purpose.

This step comes as part of efforts to improve services and facilitate travel through the port, and to ensure that travelers are not exploited in violation of official instructions.
