On Wednesday evening, tribal gunmen attacked the security administration building in Shibam District in Hadhramaut Governorate, eastern Yemen.

On Saturday, Mustafa Nasr, head of the Center for Economic Studies and Media, discussed with Hadhramaut Governor Mabkhout bin Madi and Hadhramaut Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Omar Bajrash ways of joint cooperation between the three parties to support development and investment in Hadhramaut.

Today, Saturday, the city of Shihr in Hadhramaut Governorate witnessed a peaceful march organized by a number of fishermen to express their dissatisfaction with what they described as the local authorities’ disregard for their legitimate demands.

The office of the General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities, Shibam Hadhramaut branch, signed an agreement with international organizations working in the field of preserving and protecting cultural heritage, to rehabilitate the historic city of Shibam over a period of three years, with funding from the International Alliance for the Protection of Cultural Heritage in the Event of Conflict and War (ALIPH).
