Dead and wounded among the Houthis following an infiltration attempt north of Taiz

On Thursday, the National Army forces announced that they had thwarted an infiltration attempt by the terrorist Houthi militia north of the city of Taiz, southwest of Yemen.

During the past few days, the various fronts of Taiz Governorate witnessed a new escalation by the terrorist Houthi militia, coinciding with the opening of the Al-Qasr Al-Kamb tour road, after about 10 years of siege.

The media center for the Taiz axis said that the escalation focused on the fronts surrounding the city, where the terrorist Houthi militia carried out offensive actions, artillery shelling, and infiltration attempts, which were confronted by the National Army forces.

He explained that violent clashes took place between the National Army and the terrorist Houthi militia on the Al-Karifat Front, east of the city of Taiz, following artillery shelling by the militia on army positions.

He stated that army forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militia on the Asifra front, north of the city, as a result of which armed clashes took place, resulting in the killing of two Houthi members and the wounding of four others.

This week, the National Army forces thwarted four militia infiltration attempts on the Asifra and Kalaba fronts, north and northeast of the city, and the Al-Ahtoub front in the Jabal Habashi district in the western countryside of the governorate.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the National Army forces responded to artillery shelling that targeted residential areas in the Al-Sayyahi and Al-Dhabab areas and National Army positions at the old airport and the Al-Sayahi Front, west of Taiz.

Two days ago, the National Army forces on the Wadi Salah and Al-Karifat fronts, east of the city, responded to sources of fire from the Houthi terrorist militia, targeting National Army positions with rocket-propelled grenades. PG and other medium and light weapons.
