Kenyan Khalusha...a vampire who killed 42 women, including his wife, and was arrested while watching the European final
Kenyan police announced on Monday the arrest of a young man described as a serial killer who confessed to killing 42 women, after 9 mutilated bodies were found in a garbage dump in the capital, Nairobi.
The young man is Collins Jamisi Khalusha (33 years old), and the police said that he does not respect the life of any human being. These murders occurred between 2022 and July 11, 2024.
Khalusha was arrested in front of a site in Nairobi “where he went to watch the European Football Cup final” on Sunday evening.
Khalusha confessed to "luring 42 women, killing them, and disposing of their bodies in a garbage dump" in the Mukuru neighborhood, south of the Kenyan capital, according to the head of the Criminal Investigation Directorate, Amin Mohammed, during a press conference.

The suspect was "trying to lure another victim" when police arrested him, according to authorities.
Muhammad added, "We are dealing with a serial killer who is a mentally disturbed serial killer who does not respect human life."
The suspect was found after analyzing the phone data of one of the victims.
Muhammad pointed out that during the search of the suspect’s home, the authorities found a machete, “which we believe was used to dismember the victims,” describing him as a “vampire.”
He continued, "It is very unfortunate and sad that the accused confirmed that his first victim was his wife, whom he strangled before cutting up her body and throwing it" in the garbage dump.
The police noted that search operations are continuing at the waste dump and at the suspect’s house, which is about 100 meters away from the dump.
Anger and tension
Kenyan authorities say that so far 9 bodies, at least 8 of which are women, have been found in the landfill between Friday and Sunday. The ages of 8 of the victims ranged between 18 and 30 years, according to Muhammad.
Kenyan Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanga also spoke to the media in Nairobi about the developments in the file, confirming that 9 slaughtered bodies had been recovered from a garbage site in the poor Mukuru neighborhood south of the capital.
Local and international media reported that the crime sparked terror among the Kenyan people.
Tensions rose on Sunday around the dump as police briefly fired tear gas to disperse a group of angry onlookers.
The police were subjected to severe criticism after the discovery of the first bodies in this dump, as it is located less than 100 meters from a police station.
Kenyan police pledged on Sunday to conduct a "transparent" investigation into the case.
The independent police oversight body in Kenya announced on Saturday the opening of an investigation on suspicion of police involvement.
The announcement of these crimes coincides with the tension that Kenya is experiencing due to dozens of deaths and injuries in demonstrations that took place last month against corruption, taxes, and low wages.
Recently, the Kenyan President dismissed all members of the government and the Attorney General and promised to listen to the people, fight corruption and create jobs.
