Two students in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Science and Technology, died of heart attacks, and a doctor reveals the cause

Two students at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Science and Technology died, at different times, of heart attacks, amid a wave of questions about the reasons for the increase in these cases, which claimed the lives of young men in the prime of their lives.

Medical sources reported that the student Ali Al-Shibri, in the fourth batch of human medicine, died today, Sunday, due to a heart attack, less than a month after the death of his colleague Wassim Al-Sharabi, who was studying in the same batch, and for the same reason.

The sources attributed the reason to the increasing pressure faced by students, whose main concern is now providing transportation, notebooks, and basic needs in light of the difficult circumstances experienced by many Yemeni families.

These two incidents caused sadness among students and professors, given the students’ good manners, good behaviour, and keenness to excel in academic achievement.
