A Houthi element brutally assaulted a citizen in one of the towns of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), amid widespread violations targeting the population in the governorate under the control of the Houthi militia.

Local sources said that a Houthi element in the city of Jablah (southwest of Ibb) called "Abu Sareeh" brutally assaulted a citizen called "Ahmed Mohammed Yahya Al-Sada."

The sources added that the Houthi gunman beat the "gentlemen" with his hands and rifle butts, without knowing the reasons.

Activists posted pictures of the victim on social media, showing wounds on his face and hand and bruises on his back.

The residents demanded that the militia authorities quickly arrest the perpetrator and impose a deterrent punishment on him.

The people of Ibb are subjected to almost daily violations by Houthi elements and leaders, amidst the suspicious silence of the international community.
