On Wednesday evening, the terrorist Houthi militia kidnapped a leader in the General People's Congress party, along with others, from his home in the capital, Sana'a, which is under its control.

Local sources said that the Houthi militia kidnapped Sheikh Amin Rajih on Wednesday evening, along with three other people, after surrounding his house in Sana'a.

The sources added that the Houthi elements took Sheikh Rajih and the three people who were guests in his house to an unknown location.

Sheikh Amin Rajih, who hails from Ibb Governorate, is a member of the Permanent Committee of the General People's Congress Party loyal to the Houthis in Sana'a, headed by Sheikh Sadiq Amin Abu Ras.

This Houthi escalation against the General People's Congress leaders loyal to them in Sana'a comes in conjunction with the approaching sixty-second anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution, as the militia fears any movements by the party on this anniversary.
