Amran: The body of a Houthi gunman was found killed inside a water drainage culvert

On Thursday, local residents in Amran Governorate found the body of a Houthi militia member killed and thrown inside a water drainage culvert on the "Black Mountain" road in Houth District.

According to residents, the body was found to be that of the Houthi recruit, Rashad Amer Al-Mahdali, who was killed after his weapon, personal belongings, and the car he was driving were looted.

Local sources indicated that Al-Mahdali left his village in the Al-Aman area in Hajjah Governorate, heading to Amran to receive his salary, using a car borrowed by his family.

The sources explained that the fingers of accusation point towards one of the Houthi militants who was with him in the car.

This incident comes amid the escalating security chaos and murders witnessed in Amran Governorate and areas controlled by the Houthi militia, where organized crime is rampant and similar incidents occur frequently in those areas.
