An official in the terrorist Houthi militia authorities assaulted a number of qat sellers in the city of Ibb (central Yemen).
Local sources said that Bilal Al-Dar, who was appointed by the Houthi militia as director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Ibb Governorate, assaulted a qat seller named Zakaria Al-Maliki and his colleagues in one of the markets in Ibb city on Monday.
The sources added that "Al-Dar" went to Al-Barakah market to sell qat, and while buying, a verbal altercation broke out between him and the qat seller "Al-Maliki", before the Houthi official attacked the qat seller, insulted him, and brandished a weapon in his face.
The sources indicated that Al-Dar had enlisted the help of his sons and Houthi gunmen to attack a number of qat sellers who stood by their colleague and prevented his kidnapping.
Ibb Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, is witnessing widespread violations against the people of the governorate, amidst rejection and resistance to these violations.
