Dozens of Yemeni youth stranded in Russia have renewed their appeals to the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, and our country's embassy in Moscow to quickly intervene and save them from the deception they were subjected to by brokers who trapped them in recruitment for the Russian forces.
The stranded Yemenis, numbering more than 200 young men from various Yemeni governorates, reported in a distress message that they had traveled from the Sultanate of Oman via the "Al-Jabry" company, headed by the leader loyal to the Houthi militia, "Abdul-Wali Al-Jabry", and in cooperation with two other people named "Mohammed Al-Aliani and Suleiman Al-Zariqi" based on official work contracts.
They added that upon their arrival, they were surprised that they were forced to participate in the fighting under harsh and complex conditions, in a war that had nothing to do with them, which led to the deaths of some of their colleagues and the injury of others.
They called on the government to intervene immediately, take all necessary measures to ensure their return to Yemen, and open an urgent investigation to hold accountable those involved in this illegal and immoral behavior.
They also called on the Russian authorities to respond to their humanitarian appeal and facilitate their return to their homeland.
