Hundreds of Yemenis in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, appealed to the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government to quickly evacuate them and arrange their exit from the Strip, in conjunction with the ongoing Zionist aggression on the Strip for more than a year.
Ali Al-Ashtal, a Yemeni who has been in the Gaza Strip since 2014, said that Yemeni families in the Gaza Strip have been suffering from the nightmare of war for more than a year.
He added in an interview with Yemen Youth Channel, "We are living through harsh days, under hunger and Israeli bombardment of the entity, and things are difficult for us in a way that the mind cannot imagine."
He explained that he has been in the Gaza Strip since 2014, as his father is Palestinian and his mother is Yemeni, and he was raised in Yemen, stressing that his family, along with 17 Yemeni families, has been suffering at the Rafah crossing for more than eight months.
He added, "We tried to communicate with the Yemeni embassy in Cairo and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to arrange our exit to Egypt and our return to Yemen, but we did not receive a response, under the pretext that the government does not have direct contact with the Zionist entity."
He called on the government to take urgent measures to rescue Yemeni families through the United Nations, the UAE, France or Qatar, stressing that other communities were evacuated by their authorities, except for the Yemenis who are suffering from neglect and deprivation.
He also appealed to the Leadership Council and the government to save their children and women from the war and the nightmare they are living, stressing that they are living in tents like the rest of the Palestinians, and their situation is very, very difficult. They sleep and do not wait for the morning as a result of the bombing.
