The Education Office in Ma'rib Governorate directed that school radio programs on Tuesday, September 24, be dedicated to the September 26 and October 14 revolutions in all schools in the governorate.
He stressed in the circular to schools that “the revolutions of September 26 and October 14 should remain present in the school radio segments during the school year, to talk about the revolution and its symbols and to sing the praises of its revolutionaries and achievements.”
Pointing out the necessity of "defining the goals and lofty principles of the September 26 Revolution, exposing the ugliness of the defunct priestly Imamate regime and colonial tyranny, and the Yemeni people's struggle for freedom and emancipation."
He continued: "This will enhance the revolutionary and republican culture and national loyalty among the generations of the revolution and expose the priestly dynastic system, colonialism and their remnants."
Yemenis celebrate the 26th anniversary of the September 26, 1962 revolution amidst challenges facing Yemenis for more than a decade after the Houthi militias took control and attempted to restore the imamate and impose it on Yemenis.
