Ibb.. A citizen was shot by his son as a result of a family dispute

A citizen was injured today, Monday, by his son's bullets, in one of the towns in Ibb Governorate, central Yemen.

Local sources reported that citizen "Majed Moasar" was injured as a result of live bullets fired at him by his son "Mahboub" as a result of a family dispute, after the father took the motorcycle and hit his son in the "Souq Al-Thuluth" area.

According to sources, the son fired seven bullets at his father, who miraculously escaped death.

The sources reported that the father was transferred to Al-Thawra Hospital in Ibb city to receive treatment and that his condition is moderately serious, while the son is still at large and has not been arrested until this news was written.

Sources indicate that the son committed this crime against his father at the instigation of his mother.

Ibb Governorate has witnessed an increase in the rate of family crimes recorded in Yemen in recent years, as a result of the spread of weapons and the deterioration of the economic situation, which has negatively affected the disintegration of family and family ties.
