Informed sources reported that the health of an educator from Ibb Governorate (central Yemen) has deteriorated, two months after the Houthi militia re-kidnapped him and placed him in one of its prisons in the governorate.

The sources said that the educator kidnapped in the Houthi militia prisons (Salah Abdo Muhammad Al-Baoum) was transferred on Saturday to a hospital in the city of Ibb, after his health deteriorated as a result of torture and medical neglect.

The sources added that "Al-Baoum" suffers from several diseases in addition to a significant deterioration in his psychological state.

It is noteworthy that the militia had re-kidnapped "Al-Baoum" on September 4, during its frenzied campaign against the people of the governorate on the occasion of the glorious September celebrations.

The Houthi militia released Al-Baoum in early June of this year, seven months after he was kidnapped and tortured for organizing a party in his hometown in the Al-Nadirah district on the occasion of the anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution last year. In exchange for his release, his family was forced to pay seven million riyals, and he was forced to record an apology to the militia and sign a pledge not to participate in organizing any national celebrations in the district.
