Moroccan player Hakim Ziyech posted a video on his Instagram page of Maccabi Tel Aviv fans fleeing during a clash with pro-Palestinian fans in Amsterdam, and commented by saying: If you are not a child or a woman, they will run away from you!, referring to the killing of women and children in the Gaza Strip.
Ziyech wrote, "Palestine will remain free," attaching Palestinian flags to his post.
Fans of the Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv were beaten in the Dutch capital on the sidelines of their team's match against Ajax Amsterdam in the Europa League.
The clashes erupted after fans of the Israeli club carried out provocative actions, including removing and tearing up Palestinian flags that were hanging on the facades of buildings in Amsterdam, and chanting death to Palestinians and Arabs.
