Liverpool narrowly beat Leipzig, Manchester City show off with five goals, and Inter snatch a late win

Liverpool achieved an important victory over Leipzig with a single goal, while Manchester City continued its show and won five goals against its guest Sparta Prague. Inter also snatched the three points from its host Young Boys with a late goal, in the third round of the league stage in the Champions League.

Liverpool overcame the obstacle of its host, German Leipzig, with difficulty, by defeating it (1-0) today, Wednesday.

Uruguayan Darwin Nunez scored the only goal in the match after a header from Egyptian star Mohamed Salah (27).

Foden put his team Manchester City ahead early when he opened the scoring in the third minute, which was the goal that ended the first half.

Norwegian Haaland appeared in the second half when he added the second goal for City (58) before Stones scored the third goal six minutes later.

Haaland returned to score again, scoring his second goal and his team's fourth (68).

Inter score late win

Meanwhile, Inter Milan defeated its Swiss host Young Boys by one goal.

Inter wasted a chance to open the scoring in the 48th minute when Austrian Arnautovic failed to convert a penalty kick.

Inter had to wait until the third minute of stoppage time to score thanks to substitute Thuram.

Inter raised its score to seven points, while Young Boys remained without points after suffering its third loss.
